Features

Welcome to Pondanna Outstation

  • Fully restored by the Friends of the Gawler Ranges National Park (all volunteers)
  • Remote outback homestead
  • Kitchen is well equipped *need to bring your own linen
  • 2 hours drive (4wd only) north of Wudinna.
  • Peace and tranquillity surrounded by beautiful scenery
  • 4 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 2 with 2 single beds in each.
  • Country-style lounge room with open fire, kitchen, bathroom and toilet.
  • Cleaning equipment/products are available for use on departure day.

THE PROPERTY, being very remote, does not come with all mod cons, however it does have:

  • a gas stove
  • a fridge
  • 12v lighting
  • running water (which you obtain by hand pumping it from the storage tank to the “header tank” and which you heat by lighting a small fire under the hot water service).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Guests need to supply everything they require including all their own bedding and linen.

Due to its remoteness the property is not serviced and when unoccupied can get quite dusty – guests may need to give it a sweep and tidy on arrival and are expected to leave the property clean and tidy on departure.
